LINDA MACKEY

 
June 5, 1958 ~ January 13, 2011

A funny person, a good friend, and good person in general, Linda Mackey lived well no matter where she was or what she was doing, finding any excuse to be playful with anyone that was near her.

Linda Mackey met her husband Steve, the love of her life, in 1984 at Church on the Way in Van Nuys, California where together they both fell in love while teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ to children through puppeteering and games.

Linda is survived by her loving family, including her husband Steve, four daughters: Megan, Katie, Stephanie, and Colleen; as well as her extended family and her adopted family of almost countless friends.

Friends and family are invited to her funeral service on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Bear Creek Community Church, 1717 E. Olive Ave. Merced at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers to the family, Linda asked that donations be given to Campus Crusade for Christ, account no. 0581317.

Linda is now dancing and playing in heaven to the beat of her own drum.
