Dear Steve, Megan, Katie, Stephanie and Colleen - I am so deeply sorry for your loss. It seems so unfair that someone with such a loving spirit should go home so soon. I first met Linda when we were both new believers.......her faith, and understanding of God's love toward us had such a profound effect on my own faith. It was such a joy and and honor to have her for a friend. Someday we will each be welcomed again by her smiles and laughter. The Mackey family will always have a special place in my heart and memories. God bless you and encourage you in the days ahead.

Sweet Lady Linda, You will be missed by so many...You touched a lot of lives including Len and I. We go back so far and I said to Steve, I was the one who played matchmaker! Well, the outcome was four special girls! I missed you annual "Tacky Mackey Christmas Letter" this year but I have saved most of them and I sat down and read them...You were a great writer and unlike most Christmas letters, I could read yours all the way through, more than once and Laugh every time. I know you will enjoy your New Home and we will join you in time and we'll all laugh together again... We will miss you.....Love & Prayers to Steve and the girls...

Dear Steve, Colleen, Katie, Meghan and Stephanie:
I am so sorry about your mother and wife leaving all of you so soon. She was a beautiful light in this world. I told my 4-year-old son that my college/California roommate, and dear friend had been ill and died - he said,
"We will see her in heaven mama". My young son has much wisdom. Just like the love, grace and wisdom Linda passed onto all of you.
She was always "Linda": always loving, kind, tender, sensitive, crazy creative, and a seeker. She was born with enlightenment and a soul like no other. Even though we cannot see or touch her now, all of you girls carry a piece of her (as only a child can) within you, so know that you and your father have not lost Linda. Feel her
love and devotion to you all, it can never leave, she is yours and you are hers forever.
Blessings and Peace,
Christina, Blaise Edward, and Blaise A. Bellew

Linda is the reason I am the woman I am today. She instilled in me such drive and passion, taught me to love and laugh. I always admired her more than words can express, and even wanted to be one of her beautiful, well-raised daughters when I was a little girl in one of her wonderful plays. My only wish is that I could have been closer to her as time went on, but she will ALWAYS be a part of my life. Always.

Dear Steve, Meghan, Katie, Stephanie, and Colleen,
How sad I am for you about the passing of your wife/mother. We all know she's better off, and that brings a certain sense of relief. But, I know you miss her terribly, too. Cherish the memories you have of Linda, remember the things she's taught you, and keep the joy of Jesus that she shared with you alive in your hearts. Long distance hugs to all of you...wish I could be there, but know that we have all been praying for you and will continue to do so.
So sorry to hear about Steve's dad as well...hang in there. Persevere in faith and hope in a God who loves us, even if we don't always understand His ways!
Love you all!
